kalijuga kevala nāma ādhārā,
sumiri sumiri nara utarahiṅ pārā

(Ramayan) [v28]
“In the age of Kali, the chanting and remembrance of the names of God
is the most powerful means of crossing the ocean of material existence.”

Didiji speaks four different languages namely English, Hindi, Marathi, and Telugu very fluently and makes sure everyone understands them. She’s well known as an orator who makes tough things simpler and makes people understand and follow the scriptural teachings easily. In between the lectures she sings bhajans, kirtan, Abhang, and dohe of saints and quotes Sanskrit shlokas of related scriptures in her sweet voice.

Didiji says Katha, lectures or discourses are not for mere enjoyment or entertainment. One should listen meticulously, as it will change our lives and make us realize the true purpose of human birth and our eternal connection with the lord. We tend to miss the invisible thread that connects us to the Almighty. That is the main reason for distress and sorrow in our life.

There is a significant change after hearing about the glories of the Lord. One experiences an end to distress, an end to worldly pleasures, and a mind that is free from sinful thoughts. Their dormant love for the Lord increases multi-folds. One becomes pious and sacred only to find eternal bliss in life with a strong connection with the Supreme Soul.

Discover a multitude of enlightening subjects that Didi Ji

Bhaktamal Katha

It is a garland of stories of exalted devotees of the lord sung together for the glorification of bhakti (relationship between lord and his devotees). It is not just a commentary but he gave various examples and inputs to understand Geeta more beautifully.

Yogavashista

When Lord Rama was depressed after seeing people’s suffering. He saw people suffering from birth, death, old age, and disease on his first journey (the first time when he went out of his palace) he asked different questions in vairagya prakaran and Vasishta Maharshi reply to it is “yogvasishta” which is the science of eternal happiness. But anyway, it’s just a Leela to glorify great sage Vasishta and his knowledge.
