SADEHA
Sanatan Academy for Distributing Eternal Happiness
A journey towards enlightenment and empowerment
“AS BIG AS THE DARKNESS OF IGNORANCE, LIGHT A KNOWLEDGE LAMP AS BIG AS THAT. TREAT THE WHOLE WORLD YOUR COUNTRY, TRY HARD TO CHANGE ITS APPEARANCE.”
― Sachin Ramadas Bharatiya
“SADEHA”- Sanatan Academy for Distributing Eternal Happiness is an academy to create Krishna consciousness by Sushri Shilpa Deshmukh, fondly called Didiji (elder sister) or Maiyya (mother). In the ever-evolving world that is full of uncertainties, the only savior is Krishna. As per Santana Dharma, we are a part and participle of the supreme soul. Hence one day at the fag end we are supposed to reach that supreme soul. To enrich the journey from a molecular structure to reach the almighty the only way suggested by our spiritual leaders is “Hari sankeertana”, “hari namasmarana”. It means chanting the name of the almighty.
Shilpa Didi, a Physiotherapist by profession embarked upon this spiritual journey with the mission to fulfill the void in others’ lives as well, through her spiritual discourses from Shrimad Bhagwatam. Hailing from a family with a spiritual background, with a father who is a Ghanapathi (an adept at Vedas), Spirituality came to her as a natural flow. After her various trysts with circumstances that life threw upon her, and her own spiritual experiences she embarked upon a journey and was determined herself to spread the love of Krishna through SADEHA.
"satataṁ kīrtayanto māṁ yatantaśh cha dṛiḍha-vratāḥ
namasyantaśh cha māṁ bhaktyā nitya-yuktā upāsate"
नमस्यन्तश्च मां भक्त्या नित्ययुक्ता उपासते ||
humbly bowing down before Me, they constantly worship Me in loving devotion.
Kīrtan is one of the most powerful means of practicing devotion. It involves the three-fold devotion of śhravaṇa (hearing), kīrtan (chanting), and smaraṇa (remembering). The goal is to fix the mind upon God, but it becomes easier when done alongside with hearing and chanting. As stated in chapter six, the mind is as restless as the wind, and naturally wanders from thought to thought. Hearing and chanting engage the knowledge senses in the divine realm, which helps in repeatedly bringing back the mind from its wanderings.
- Bhagwad Geeta
SADEHA is an Academy to disseminate and distribute the message of Lord Krishna and Ancient Vedic Wisdom for the benefit of all in the world.
Spiritual discourses of Katha give a unique capacity to differentiate between good and bad and turn a sinful human into a pious devotee. Lord’s devotees are very merciful, compassionate, and kind to end the birth and death cycle and give eternal happiness to one and all. They take birth in every cast, in every yuga, and distribute the wisdom in simple ways. LORD Shiva, Narada Muni, Agastya Maharshi, Valmiki, Shuka, Tukaram, Meera bai, Annamayya, Surdas, Chaitanya Mahaprabhu, and many, many rishis and saints come to this earth and gladden our hearts and bless the souls with kathas deliver the fallen souls. Sant Shri Dongreji Maharaj says there’s never a situation or time period when there are no saints or guru available in the universe, even in kali yuga but the good and intelligent people who are interested to take up this path of devotional service seriously are very less.
“Mandas sumand matayo mand bhagya hyupadrutaha” - Shrimad Bhagwat.
People are very lazy and less intelligent in kali yuga because of the intelligence, energy, and time they use in eating, mating, sleeping, and earning but not to end the distress of this birth and death cycle and get real perfection of life.
Hence, Katha Shravan, that is listening to the spiritual discourses that are an extract of the various Vedic scriptures, Upanishads, Srimad Bhagwant, Ramayana, and various other Puranas will help the human beings attain enlightenment, thus relieving them from their Bad Karma and they will embark upon the path of Dharma (righteousness).
Different Types of Kathas' from SADEHA

- Gram Katha

- Dham Katha
Gram Katha
According to the scripture, ” Chalo apne gaon chale Apno Se Phir mile Katha kar Harihar ki Alakh jalaye gyan aur prem ki” That means that we must go out to our villages, and go back to the roots of our being. Let’s get to know our neighbours, our community as we sing the praises of God’s glory and shine the light of the knowledge of wisdom, knowledge, and unconditional love.
Today’s society is awash with technology, which is bringing people closer to each other virtually, but drifting away in real terms. We have become separated from our ancestral roots, and our future generation, who lives in the concrete jungle must learn about our rich culture. Organizing a Katha in remote villages to experience a religious holiday, as a participant in a Katha Shravan can bring a sense of renewal. It will strengthen the bonds between families, and bring back the love and connection between them.
Village life revolves around “simple living with high thinking”. We must unlearn the traps of technology, and let us free ourselves from the limitations of technology to experience the true essence of living. We must learn how to help our fellow citizens and communities by holding an event called a Gram Katha, where, the scent of God can be spread throughout the entire atmosphere creating a sacred and holy environment and bringing more joy into our everyday lives!!

Nagar Katha
Nagar in Sanskrit means, city. City life is full of rush and bustle. It is difficult to find time to ourselves time for leisure, or set some time to devote ourselves to the mighty. Modernization has provided us with everything but it’s also cost us “our” time to risk. The only thing we have is Monday morning blues and a weekend holiday. We should make the most of our weekends efficiently by dedicating a bit of time to the Lord Krishna and begin a new path towards spirituality.
Nagar Katha is a program specially designed with a mind to the inhabitants of the city and their lifestyle. Making sure that you have a good work-life equilibrium that is the requirement of today. Stress depression, anxiety, and tension as well as other issues that arise in the workplace, as well as in the family sphere result from a deviance from the direction of the righteous path, also known as call it Dharma. The great Sages and monks have shared effective tools and methods to overcome one’s fears and tackle the challenges that arise in a positive manner. In the Bhagwat Katha Shravan courses within the umbrella of Nagar Katha, we will develop these techniques and tools and strengthen ourselves with spiritual strength.
